The Daveyard

Unlocked by	Receiving the errand to retrieve Dave's secret sauce recipe given by the Chef in the Jewel Saloon. Wandering in region A Revealed by Doc Alice, if she's your pardner Possibly revealed by using disposable binoculars in your room in Dirtwater

The Daveyard is where many Daves are buried. As well as the outer area, you can enter a mausoleum, which leads to a tomb.

Having a shovel will help.

Items

• brown boots can be dug up from the first grave.
• Dave's secret sauce recipe can be dug up from the 3rd gave.
• skull with an odd tag on it from the non-moving pile of bones near the mausoleum.
• vienna blood sausages and thermos of spiked coffee from the lunchbox.
• Within the tomb you can find:
  • gore-splattered scroll
  • human ashes
  • A clue for the Necromancer Journal

Enemies

• As you would expect, the skeletons are all named Dave.

• The 3 quivering piles of bones outside hold a tough-looking skeleton, a smart-looking skeleton, and a cool-looking skeleton respectively.

• Inside the mausoleum you can choose to fight:
  • 1 more skeleton of a Dave, which is really a random choice between a cool-looking skeleton, a tough-looking skeleton, or a smart-looking skeleton
  • A group of three skeletons, being all three of a cool-looking skeleton, a tough-looking skeleton, and a smart-looking skeleton
  • The mausoleum fights are limited to 5 a day in Hard Mode

Ritual Circle

• A room in the back of the tomb contains some necromancy items and a circle to perform a ritual.
  • You find human ashes in the tomb. You must locate a glass sphere and stardust.
    • A glass sphere can be acquired by placing the El Vibrato headband on Murray in Lost Dutch Oven Mine.
      • Murray will then regain his sanity and open up a store in Dirtwater where the sphere can be purchased.
    • The easiest way to acquire the stardust is to wander around The Daveyard while having a pickaxe in your inventory. When you come across a meteorite, mine it.
      • Note that while mining a meteorite will gain you stardust, it will also destroy your pickaxe.
  • The ritual summons the skeleton of Dave B. Clicking on him starts a fight, which if you are victorious gives you the Barry knife.

Notes

• The tomb in The Daveyard is an excellent place to grind for pardner xp if Doc Alice is in your party.
