cultist mask |
Several cultists are inside. If you wear a cultist mask or cultist leader mask they ignore you (or just bow to you). Alternatively, you can force cultists into a peaceful awakening by using an El Vibrato headband.
- The entrance to the mine is guarded by a cultist of Roberto. If you do not have a mask or headband, you can fight him, or trick him with Outfoxin' 3, Hornswogglin' 3, or Intimidatin' 3.
- If you encounter the guard on the way out, unmasked, you will only have options to fight or run past them.
- On the first level you'll encounter one cultist by the door, and another one just before the passage downward. You can fight them, or headband them.
- On level 2 you'll encounter three more individual cultists, which you can deal with in the same way.
- On level 3 you'll find one more cultist, as well as the square-headed head cultist.
Notes[ | ]
- On level 3 examining Curly's auto-gyrotheodolite reveals the location of Curly's Cave, inside of which you can find
- the left half of Curly's map
- some bottles of liquor (decent tequila, decent whiskey, and/or decent wine)
- a pie of some form; either a lead pie (if General Gob lives), or a tripe pie, brainmeat pie, or butter pie.
- Level 3 also holds an El Vibrato cache, revealed if you have an El Vibrato rod, and requiring an El Vibrato keystone to open.
- On level 4, with an El Vibrato transponder, you remove a pile of rocks (with a pickaxe) to reveal a ladder down, which leads you to the El Vibrato Outpost.
