Danny's Tannery is a location in West of Loathing, south-west of Stearns Ranch. It is revealed when you defeat the clowns at the Clown Campsite, or join forces with Barnaby Bob.
Inside[ | ]
There are 3 combat scenes going on here, one as you enter on the left of the building, one on the right, and one in the center of the room. The interior layout requires you go behind the barrels all the way to the right in order to get to the center area. You will need to win all 3 combat scenarios in order to get the key to the back door.
Items[ | ]
- Inside the toolbox is leather shears and a handful of nails.
- A varmint skinnin' knife and the Tannery back door key are rewards for completing the third fight.
- The pile of bones in the center of the room holds the Tannery St. Rage key (which you will need to get into the shed in the back).
- If you construct the crate (requires hammer and handful of nails), and then loot it, you can acquire

- Right inside the tannery the first fight is a clown fighting a ghostly cowskin. They turn on you when you get near. The clown will first appear on your side and help you kill the skincow. Upon winning they turn on you, immediately segueing into another fight just against the rodeo clown.

- The second fight is located further in, all the way behind all the barrels and to the right of the building. Here you fight the two skincows along with the two rodeo clowns, segueing into another fight with just the two rodeo clowns.

- The third fight, in the middle of the room, includes two skincows, a cowskin stretched on a tanning rack, two normal rodeo clowns, and one slightly stronger rodeo clown. As with the others, the clowns initially fight on your side and then turn on you.
- Losing the second part of any of these fights means you will need to redo both parts of the fight again to get past them.
- note: if you kill the clown in the first part of the fight, they will, for some reason, still be alive to turn on you in the second part of the fight.

Out the back door you unlocked with the Tannery back door key is the drying yard, in which you will encounter another fight between 3 clowns and 3 cows (one cow and 2 tanning racks). Once triggered, you have the option to fight or run away.
- Winning the fight unlocks Barnaby Bob's Perfectly Normal Traveling Circus Sideshow if it is not already known.
Shed[ | ]
With the Tannery St. Rage key you can unlock the shed. Inside you find the appropriately named Grady Tanner, hiding behind a barrel, and can build a(nother) crate from the planks.
- Talking with Grady gives you a packet of cowsbane seeds. He will remain here until you send him to Dirtwater to open a shop.
